Harmony has amazing academic programs and opportunities, but for the students that aren't naturally gifted, the school doesn't offer much for them. The students that get amazing grades are praised, but there is little help for the students who don't achieve those grades. There is also always some type of testing going on in this school. The high school students are all obviously burnt out, sleep deprived, and there's a large majority of the student body that is depressed. There is little help for students mentally. It's obvious the school cares more about the test scores than the students.

Harmony School of Innovation is excellent at providing their students with the resources they need to excel on standardized tests. Beyond excelling with standardized tests, most of the staff are amicable and even try to maintain the idea that everyone is family on campus. Where Harmony succeeds at providing students with useful tools to do well academic wise, they are lacking in other departments such as athletics and counselors that focus on behavior and mental health. High GPA's and SAT scores are great and all, but young adults also need to use this time to learn how to keep their bodies and minds healthy while receiving an education.
This may come as a bias since I have been going to this school since 6th grade, but I believe Harmony is a good choice in providing an education and extracurricular activities aimed at fostering skills for STEM. The diversity among the students is a unique feature, and many of the teachers and college counselors are incredibly helpful in providing information, advice, and document for college applications. Although some of my classmates believe that we don't place that much focus upon school spirit and other factors. I placed no score over parent involvement for I have no extensive knowledge over this to form an opinion.
