Harmony School of Excellence is public stem school that specializes in college readiness for every student that graduates. This school is more academic oriented with pathways including biomedical, engineering, law enforcement, photography, and journalism. Although this school lacks sports like football, baseball, and softball. The Athletics program launched 2 years ago for high school UIL basketball and this school is in the process of obtaining all other sports. This school believes in your success of attending a 4 year institution which 98% of the students that graduate attend to. This school Is very dedicated to the student's academic path because they give the opportunity for students to enlist in dual credit courses through a college that is partnered with the school. The school pays for all the dual enrollment classes which allows low income students to use this opportunity to get ahead your college studies in school. This is a school that ensures that your child has a future.

I have attended Harmony for the full four years of my high school career, and overall, I would say I was quite pleased with the experience. It is top-notch in the education department. Students in Harmony feel challenged. The experiences that I have had in my school have made me better at time management and have pushed me to challenge myself. As I prepare to attend Rice University in the Fall, I believe that thanks to the challenges that I have already gone through in High School, I will be able to manage myself better in such a competitive school. The only thing that I wish Harmony did better is their overall administration of the school. Events take forever to get approved, funding for projects is difficult to obtain, and sometimes it feels like requests are not taken as seriously as they should be.
I personally believe that Harmony School of Excellence is an incredible school. The Staff here is very pleasant and eager to help. The Counselor offers very valuable information on how to apply for Colleges. Harmony has very high standards and only teaches the highest of subjects. They also provide college credit classes for all grade levels, for example they have biomedical classes that (if you pass the final exam and have passing grades) give you credit that will help you in college.
