My experience here in Harlem Renaissance has definantly changed my perspective of the world. I no long feel small nor alone. Due to my experience there I learned how to grow intellectually into the young women I am today. The staff and teachers are not but a great help to the community and provide me and my other classmates with everything needed in order to succeed. Before coming to this school I had no desire on going to college and saw myself going down the wrong path, however now that I have been in this school for the past year or so it’s been nothing but blessings. One thing that I do hope to see change in over the course of the years is the no going outside for lunch policy. I feel that as mature young adults we should be able to go outside for lunch and know that coming back to class should be our number one priority throughout the day. It is known to be a responsibility.

This school is one of the best transfer schools you can attend. The staff here safe friendly, they’re always available to help you with whatever you need, and the school’s culture has made me feel welcomed.
The teachers at Harlem Renaissance High School are very helpful to their students and outgoing for their students. The teachers tell you what you need and what you need to get done to get out of the school. The teachers does a good job teaching they explain step by step and if a student doesn't understand they go over it multiple times with the class until a students gets it even after explaining to the class multiple times the teacher will come over to the student and explain to make sure the student understand . I went into Harlem Renaissance High School with 6 credits and 0 regents , I left out with 44 credits and 5 regents . It's the best school ever I'm going to miss this school
