Harborside Academy is a great school that follows expeditionary learning and incorporates many hands-on teachings and activities. I have been attending Harborside since the sixth grade, and this year marks my seventh year. One point that Harborside excels in is their ability to create a comfortable and inclusive environment. Since it is such a small school, getting to know everyone isn't difficult. It is also a college-prep school and greatly prepares you for college and the future in a fun and interactive way. Although being a different school can be good, it also has some disadvantages. Unlike other schools, Harborside cannot provide as many class courses. We also do not learn the same things as other schools which may be difficult when college comes around. If possible, Harborside should try to change their lessons to follow the rest of the schools a little bit more. However, the teachers are all still great and I'm sure Harborside can provide students new experience and abilities.

Thanks to Harborside Academy I have been able to grow so much as a person and learn many new things. But my favorite thing has to be how much I have improved academically. When I was in middle school I was a horrible student, I got bad grades and did not really care. But when I came to Harborside it was a life changing experience, I have improved so much in my academics and now I am the biggest math nerd ever! I love math so much that I cant wait to continue my math career! My only downside to my experience is our librarian who is not the friendliest person but she still does her great job in the library. I love Harborside Academy so much and am going to miss all the amazing memories I have had at our school.
I Liked Harborside Academy for its unique efforts to keep students engaged. With hands on work, outside work and experience with experts and styaing active. I'm thankful to have gone to a school that had teachers who invested inot the kids lives and was there to help both educationally and emotionally. I'm not big on going to huge schools, because I'm so used to the enviornment that harborsided provided. One that helped relationships grow, I know that I can come back in 10 years, and still have someone that I can talk to; and people who remember who I am.
