Harbor city is an Academically inclined school, and one of the best you'll ever find. While they have no sports team or anything they have several sport options. The teachers are the most understanding and supportive you'll find, and many times I'll be stuck and have been helped out of tough parts of life. The 4 years I spent there we're the best I ever had.

Very quirky and welcoming atmosphere. Not only college prep, but also a safe-haven for outcasts. Not a place for people who are not willing to put in the effort, but systems in place to greatly advance reading level of students who are behind their grade level.
This school is a great environment for kids who don't fit in at public school, or who have trouble making friends. It is very LGBTQ+ friendly, teacher and student will respect your pronouns, there is a very active equability club, and people are just generally friendly. That being said the academics are pretty bad, and because they only offer most classes every other year, if you are entering as a sophomore or up, it is really hard to get the classes you need. The teacher are not the best either, a lot seem burnt out, and many are not actually good at teaching.
