Hanna High school has been the place were I've created many memories, friends, and accomplishments. Teachers and Staff have always encouraged students to strive towards greatness and never settle for less. I've meet many encouraging staff members that have helped me accomplish several goals. The educational levels are set at a high expectation for all students. This has helped many students to work hard for good grades. Hanna offers extra academic help to all students to benefit them. Overall, Hanna Early College High School has always put the need of their students first above all other making this school one of the best!
Hanna Early College High School is one of the best schools here in the valley. Even though Hanna is one of the oldest schools here in Brownsville, Texas, it's foundation and great team work Is what makes the school. It is really nice from the inside and out. Because administration cares about its students, they will do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe in and out of school. With all the opportunities, this high school has helped many get in advance with some of college. Students have the opportunity to push themselves to the limit, knowing someone is there to back you up, which we call teachers. Hanna Early College High School was ranked 5 out of 5 stars. You name it, they have it or they'll try their best to get you to where you want to be. A big thank you to HECHS for helping become what I am today. This school is like a big family everyone deserves!
I loved going to Hanna because it allowed me to explore different opportunities that were offered. I was able to be part of so many clubs and activities, and I even got the honor to be an officer for a couple of them. I met the most incredible people at Hanna that I’m proud to call my friends. Additionally, the teachers at Hanna were amazing and knew what they were teaching. Some of my role models are the teachers I found while at Hanna and I’m overall so grateful for everything they’ve done for me. Now that I’m graduating in a couple of months, I will miss Hanna dearly. I just hope to enjoy my last semester and finish it off with a bang. I’ve been blessed to be in the top 5% of my class and I’ve done my best to be a role model for the underclasses. One thing I wish the school would change, however, is how they focus too much in their sports teams. They should do more for the overall academics of the students, because that is what matters at the end of day. Go Eagles!
