Hamilton Township High school is a very loving, fun, and safe environment. The teachers are amazing! They want to see you succeed in every aspect of life. We have one the blue ribbon award in pst years for being one of the best schools in the nation. Hamilton Township High School is a very special place. I have nothing bad to say about my school. I love being a ranger and will always be proud of where I came from.
The teaching staff, administration, lunch ladies, and custodians were always so kind and helpful. The teachers would always listen to what the students would say and I have never witnessed one get wrongfully upset at a student. The teachers view the students as friends more than they view them as people who they are only going to teach for one year. Students are allowed to aid for teachers during free periods, and this allows an even stronger bond between staff and student. Many of the teachers are also coaches for teams. This allows a potential athlete to know the coach before they decided to try out for a sport and it allows for the coach to keep up with the academics of the students. For band and theater there are groups of parents who volunteer their time to help the kids. The only issue I have is the school is not very diverse and it is mostly white people.
For all our awards, we're just an average high school with all the same problems: staff that hate their jobs, students that hate their lives, and the constant ennuie caused by a mind-numbing daily schedule that is sometimes broken up by assemblies full of forced cheer/"school spirit". But that's America for you.
There were tons of teachers that I could tell genuinely cared about their job and devoted their lives to their students, though. Honestly, I'm grateful for them as they have made my high school experience a little less miserable and reminds me that the education system does not only exist to beat submission into the students to prepare them for unfulfilling 9 to 5's. They truly are the backbone of our society.
