Hamilton High School Reviews

While my years at Hamilton High School hold some of my most sacred memories, they also hold the ones I've tried the hardest to forget. Our school’s filled with people from all walks of life, but somehow individuals end up indistinguishable with one similar goal: to get out of high school. Kids spend the end of their adolescent years longing for the day they'll be a ninth grader. However, what’s desirable about high school is simply the perception our young minds carry. I went from craving the status of being a ninth grader, to that of an upperclassman. I then spent those years enjoying myself, but also wishing away my time at Hamilton, impatient for a future that wouldn't come soon enough. But in a blink of an eye I wasn’t a ninth grader, I was the upperclassman, facing a future of unknowns. Suddenly I wished I could relive high school forever, until it was all known. That's the funny thing about high school, you can't fully appreciate it for what it is until there isn't much left.
As Hamilton is a smaller town, the school is shockingly above the curve. It offers quite a lot of AP courses and dual enrollment classes. The staff and student body are really friendly and supportive, and provide a “homey” atmosphere where you can be yourself. The school itself is slightly understaffed but they are working on fixing that issue. As a senior, I can say that growing up and attending Hamilton High School was an enjoyable learning experience.
Hamilton High School is a very clean place with relatively low drama. The size is such that everyone knows everyone, but you don't always see the same people every day. The teachers are kind and charismatic, and it's easy for everyone to find a place and role. There's no other school in Montana I'd rather attend.
