Hamilton High School is exciting place for people to experience a variety of courses such as culinary arts, ceramics, and languages such as Japanese and German. Here, you'll find diverse students of thought, as well as balanced homework with great teachers. The courses here are unique as you may not find them in many other High Schools. Overall, a very well rounded school and exciting things to learn every day!
Being a freshman at Hamilton High School, my first experiences are overall positive. I think the school does a well job in providing opportunities for the students and I like how there is something for everybody, wether it’s a club they want to join or simply meeting with a teacher after school. However, there is always room for improvement. I truly wish that our school would put more effort into our newspaper and overall writing in general. It’s something that students, parents, and even grandparents are interested in. It’s kind of overlooked and not many know about events that take place or clubs that are available to join. The school would greatly improve if they directed their attention toward the newspaper to advertise our achievements. Another major improvement needing to be made is updating the dress code. The current dress code holds sexist traditions, like making girls to cover their shoulders, and by fixing the dress code, it will satisfy what students have been wanting.
Hamilton High School is a great place to be! As a senior who is graduating from this school in 2023, I know there's truly no better place to attend for four years than Hamilton High School. I know I will be looking back on all the friends that I made, the extraordinary teachers, and the building itself. It is fascinating! I have transferred to many schools all throughout high school and Hamilton takes the prize for the best school I have been to.
