I am currently a Junior in Hamilton High School. Hamilton High is a excellent school with students determined to improve on themselves and always striving to overcome the impossible. Although, at first for freshmen year I went to a different school, Chandler High School. Before switching to Hamilton High as I was soon realized how they had differed in dynamics from one another. Only being 4 miles away Hamilton was more academically challenging, focusing mainly on college readiness and overall had a better friendlier environment. Generally speaking Hamilton High School is a great school welcoming from all kinds of backgrounds and religious beliefs. In which it is not only a school but also a home for people to be supported and individually determined for their future.
Hamilton is a really great school! There are so many different clubs and opportunities for all kinds of people. We have award winning arts, theatre, science, math and sports programs. We're the #1 comprehensive high school in Arizona. I wouldn't want to go to any other school in Arizona. However, it is very sports-focused, especially during football season. Many of the football players are not very nice and even if they literally never play, they still treat other students like dirt for now being on the team. That being said, there are opportunities for everyone, so you just have to avoid the jerks. Additionally, the school security don't pay enough attention to blatantly obvious drug deals and super drunk kids at school and spend most of their time yelling at girls for exposing a quarter inch of their shoulders -- the horror! But overall I like Hamilton and could not imagine graduating from any other high school.
HAMILTON is one of the biggest and the most well known schools in Arizona. We have many successful students who graduate with a 4.9gpa or go to an IV league school with full scholarships from sport and academic scores. The teachers at our school are amazing. They do whatever it takes to make each one of their students be successful by the end of the year. The security guards are very nice and are friends with a lot of us. Our principal makes an effort to meet all of us and greets us in the hallway whenever he passes by. Each administration try and help students out whenever they are needed and work for the benefit of the students and also parents. There are so many opportunities at this school and a chance to show our talents through different clubs and classes. Our athletic teams are very strong too. We use to be undefeated in football and have won many different awards for golf, tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer, and swim. We are also a very diverse school.
