My experience was good at Hallandale High School. I had the chance to get involved in a couple of activities and join clubs and a sport around my junior and senior year. The school is great at providing beneficial resources for those in great need of it. The teachers always provide their best support for students and make them feel comfortable at school. There are multiple clubs for students interested in technology, theatre, poetry, criminal justice, debate, and community service. Coaches at Hallandale High school are great and create a great environment for student athletes. I’m academically excellent due to all the teachers and counselors. I was able to go on many career related field trips and get ready for college. I was also able to choose from a variety of career related electives and learn about my career of choice which is law. Overall, my experience at Hallandale High School was great and helped me prepare for a brighter future.
I love it there! It's so engaging, fun, and I've done well with my academics since I was there. There has been many things, groups, and classes I was introduced to as I attended Hallandale. Many opportunities to unleash and fun things to do. I feel like that's "home" for me and I wouldn't trade any other school.
We are a school with opportunities that can happen, but I lack a leader who doesn't make his own decision because their someone else who walks the halls. But also the fact that that person who mostly walk the halls bias of supporting other clubs and activities when it's needed most. The teachers have a good heart and also good resources, however, we students aren't fairly assisted in the classroom because of poor coordination between the adults than to students. It's just a constant loop of miscommunication and an unsupportive connection relationship between parent, teacher, student.
