Half Hollow Hills High School West Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 316 reviews
Hollow Hills High School West offers a vibrant and enriching educational experience. Renowned for its commitment to academic excellence, the school provides a diverse array of courses, including challenging honors and AP options. Beyond academics, students benefit from a thriving extracurricular scene, fostering leadership and camaraderie. The school's strong athletic program showcases talent and teamwork, while modern facilities support holistic growth. Active community involvement and dedicated college preparation affirm Half Hollow Hills High School West as an institution dedicated to nurturing well-rounded, accomplished individuals.
I liked the overall interior of the school and the majority of my teachers were very nice and supportive! I felt like I could go to them if I needed help with something. There was also little to no bullying among students, which is pretty rare in schools. The school is a little difficult to navigate because a lot of hallways look exactly the same, but once you get the hang of it it’s not so bad. If I disliked any teachers, it was a personal dislike. I would advise against taking the Media Arts course though, since it is extremely outdated and barely teaches you any skills you can use (especially if you were already studying film, art, and animation).
High School West provides an education that ensures the student will be successful and well rounded. While some of the curriculum might challenge students, it is not meant to hurt anyone. With that said, it does a nice job at preparing individuals to accept the challenge and find a solution. However, high school west is not perfect and should bring about major changes in certain areas. To label the “justice system” as poor would be an understatement. High School west focuses to much on the future of a problem instead of attacking the current issues. Overall, High School West ranks average at best.
