I loved being able to take college leveled classes, however I wish there were more to take. While our school is overall a great school, I wish the arts and academics were appreciated as much as the athletic teams are.
At Hahnville I have enjoyed the overwhelming care from my teachers that I have had over the years, and the passion they have for seeing me succeed. I would like to change the strict curriculum guidelines but that is state made so there’s no changing that!
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. The school has an excellent arts program, especially band. The administration is attentive and understanding to parent emails. Majority of teachers are top notch. The sports program is excellent, especially wrestling. I would recommend a student to attend this school. The food in the cafeteria needs more attention to detail. Seems like my kids complain they never get enough or what they want for choices. Maybe a new manager would fix that problem. Since Covid, the school seems to be doing a great job by offering a hybrid schedule to groups of students. My kids have enjoyed attending this school.
Hahnville High School is filled with some of the kindest and most caring people I’ve ever met. The teachers care about you and try their best to make you feel welcomed and comfortable at school. Everyone says good morning to each other no matter if they teach you or not.
Hahnville High School has been like a second home. I do the morning announcements/afternoon announcements and the staff make me feel like I’m doing right as a senior. Everyone there is kind and the school teaches amazingly.
My experience at Hahnville High is a pretty good experience with all three years I've been there. Judging on this year is hard because of al the circumstances we are in right now but they are doing well considering that.
What I like about Hahnville High School is that there is always something going on with sports or theatre or anything that makes it not dull. There is never a boring week where nothing is going on.
Hahnville High School was a very average school, but the teachers cared so much about us succeeding it made my 4 years amazing!
The teachers here really want you to succeed and classes challenge you intellectually to help you grow as a student.
I love Hahnville, I can have an different experience from others due to me being in the AP and Honors programs but I found that I’m ready for college and I have made memories and different opportunities from what Hahnville has give me and my friends.
This is a good school. When I attended there it was very diverse because of where I came from before. They have good athletic programs and athletic training program. Teachers will help you just ask don’t be afraid. I do miss high school sometimes, lots of memories
The school has a high reputation for caring for their students. In reality, they don’t really care. They care more about how they look to people outside of the school.
Hahnville was a great school that created a learning environment that kids could thrive in. The teachers came to make each student better. There was always someone to help with different needs. They always put the students first. He school had great resources. There are multiple extracurricular activities for students to be apart of. The schools culture is great and it is a place where kids can enjoy their learning experience.
It’s a really nice school all around. My only complaint would be it needs to become a little more culturally diverse.
I came to Hahnville the end of my Junior year. I excelled academically and was co-captain of a championship forensics and debate program at my former school.
Upon arriving at Hahnville I learned three things with shocking speed: 1) there was no debate or theater program, all funds were funneled into sports, 2) bullying, including but not limited to death threats and physical abuse, would go unaddressed by the administration despite repeated complaints by students, parents, and staff, 3) I would be placed in a number of freshman-level classes due to differences between the states' curriculum requirements. I would not be given the option to test out or make the case for substituting other more advanced classes. I effectively gave up on school before the end of the first month.
I attended Hahnville close to a decade ago, but am still haunted by the things that happened to me there and how little the faculty and administration seemed to care about what was going on.

Hahnville is a really good school overall, but I would like to see more college preparation done from our junior year, not a few months before we graduate. Also, if the school wasn't as focused on athletics and more with their arts and academics, it should be more focus on what will get us through college, not barely passing. I like the environment Hahnville has, but I'd want to see simple things like this and the focus to be on academics, not sports.
