Hahnville is one of the best schools in the district. I will be finishing my senior year soon and I am proud to be a future graduate. Student relations and teaching staff are not perfect and can be better managed. On a more positive note, the academic programs give ample preparation for graduation. I feel more can be done for real-world preparation and college readiness. Often times, alumn will say that high school has not prepared them enough. I feel that the school should focus less on test scores and focus more on making sure that students fell that they get something out of high school. Overall, my experience at Hahnville was one to remember and I am content with what I have gotten from my four years here. There are a lot of opportunities here that are not available at other schools.

When I first started high school, I lived in Mississippi. I was going to Picayune Memorial High School. I moved to Hahnville in the middle of my Junior year and I immediately felt welcome. It is usually hard for me to make new friends, but the students at Hahnville High School were extremely nice. I felt welcomed by everyone. The teachers treat everyone equally and the principle makes sure to involve everyone in school activities. The counselors have made it their top priority to teach the students about college and jobs once we are out of high school. Students are offered fulltime internet access and there are multiple computers in the school that are accessible to the students. Hahnville has BYOT (bring your own technology) zones in these zone students are allowed to use their personal computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices.
This school year makes the forth year that I have been attending Hahnville High. After being there for the last few years rating it, I believe it is a very good school. The school offers many programs and opportunities not only for students to better there future, but be more prepared for it. Not only that, but the teachers who teach there are genuinely caring people. My teachers have always been there to help me wether that be with school work or things may be dealing with. I really appreciate all of them for everything they do for not only me, but everybody at the school. Along with this Hahnville offers many clubs, sports, and classes for students to explore and find there interest in. This is but a few of the reasons I rate Hahnville as a very good school. I truly believe that it offers students with the knowledge and experience to be successful after high school and provides them the chance to figure out what they are interested in.
