Although the academics in the school are not the best in the nation, Hagerman High School is a good school to attend. The average graduating class consists of 30 students, so the classes here are pretty small. The teachers are friendly and know each student individually. The students are friendly and create a sense of community within the school. The administration offers students to seek more opportunities via online courses and dual credit courses in partnership with Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell.

At Hagerman High School, I enjoy the friendship of all students and always having someone who will help me out with problems I have in life. Some of the things I would want to see change are for the school to focus more on quality education rather than on sports teams, and more emphasis on students who either need more help on schoolwork and on students who need more rigorous courses.
I have been to Hagerman High since Headstart. Readiness for college should be worked on more but so far, this tiny town is doing good!
