Gwynedd Mercy Academy has given me the best high school experience I could have asked for. Gwynedd Mercy offers a rigorous academic program as well as allows the sense of community to overpower each individual. Our school recognizes the athletes, musicians, artists, scholars, and so many more talented people. Fortunately, I am able to exceed in many different categories showing my well-rounded personality and demonstrating my ability to go beyond just one particular quality. I think this is what makes the Gwynedd community unique. At Gwynedd Mercy, each girl is given the chance to learn and develop strengths in many different aspects of life.

Great school! Taught grammar for the first time in my 10th grade english class by a wonderful nun (previously came from public school where basic grammar is nonexistent). Wonderful school for English, social studies, math, and languages. Good departments in science, but not as strong as the others.
The teachers are unfair and have sudden uncalled for outbursts towards their students. I have had many incidents with teachers that were 100% not my fault. Teachers would lash out at simple questions like "when are you going to grade our tests?". The administration has almost no communication with their students and there is always confusion with what is going on which is very difficult. Sports at Gwynedd are the most prioritized and the other departments are thrown in the trash. The teachers have no sense of students' lives outside of their classroom and are very late notice and unclear when giving assignments. They post grades almost always at the very end of the quarter and they are extremely lazy. You are expected to be perfect at Gwynedd and understand everything with almost no explanation. Tests and quizzes pile up fast, and you have at least 1 or 2 every day. The only good thing about GMA is maybe 2 teachers and the food.
