Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary is a private, Catholic, K-8 academy for boys and girls committed to innovative and 21st Century education integrated with Mercy values. Combining a long tradition of academic excellence with innovative teaching methodology and progressive technology integration, Gwynedd-Mercy Academy Elementary strives to create a caring, child-centered environment. Established in 1861, by the Sisters of Mercy, the school is now sponsored by the Mercy Education System of the Americas (MESA). Students at Gwynedd-Mercy Academy are nurtured and encouraged to reach the highest standards of excellence. Challenging academic curriculum, extensive arts and music programs, team-building athletic program and numerous extended learning opportunities allow our students recognize their gifts and to actualize their potential.
