I feel that Guyer High School prepared me very well for college! The teachers at Guyer we’re always ready to help yet still challenging their students to want to learn more. There were various clubs, activities, or sports that students could choose to participate in to become more involved! Ranging from tons of interests, it allowed every student to have the opportunity to become active within the Guyer community!

These last years at Guyer have been pretty fun. I’ve made lots of friends and the teachers here are amazing. Everyone is very nice and it’s a friendly environment! People excel in sports, academics, and organizations. It’s all about being ready for the future but having fun while doing it a Guyer. If you ever have some sort of problem, administrators are always there to help you. It’s like one big family and I’m so happy I was able to spend all 4 years at such a beautiful school.
Guyer was not the school I was zoned to from middle school, but because our families moved homes, this was the school I now had to attend. At first, I was skeptical about this new community. But much to my surprise, I ended up loving this school. There are a wide variety of students from different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Contrary to other 6-a schools I've been to, this place feels a lot more "homey" especially with how pact the architecture is, I can visit all my favorite teachers without having to walk through what seems to be a mile of a 1000-turns. The teachers are also very supportive of everyone and from hearing what other High-school teachers are like from my friends outside of my school, I believe our teachers, thanks to our admins, are very holistic with their teaching and try to give us the best understanding of a subject instead of just treating us like robots and preparing for exams. Overall, I love my school and have no regrets moving into this school.
