Gulliver Preparatory School Reviews

Some of the best teachers in Miami. You leave this school with long lasting relationships and great connections for the future. Gulliver Prep will always have my heart. Learned to be extremely independent and definitely felt ready for college when I left. In fact, some of my classes in high school were harder than my classes have been in college. I am still in contact with my teachers and have extremely good relationships with them and if I ever needed help with something I know they would be there for me. I cannot express my gratitude to this school. Their science programs are incredible, especially the engineering and biomedical programs. The teachers that I had the best experiences with are Laura Keepax, Kirk Nieveen, and Kristen Szpak. I absolutely adore them and each and everyone is SO knowledgeable. I could go on forever and ever, but do not count this school out! Their financial aid is great and there are plenty of ways that you could get your child to come here!

This school was fine when my kid first attended, but it was gradually changed (in a bad way) started from 2017! It's imposing WAY TOO MUCH pressure on its students, and the teachers make their classes impossible. My kid is smart and she works very hard. She used to get all As, but she never gets As anymore because her teachers don't make tests based on what she's learning from them. Some teachers don't really teach efficiently. My kid got depression and anxiety due to her school life! Besides, the clubs of this school are not working at all, there were only a few community service clubs doing something few times a year. My kid is not happy going to the school anymore and she said neither do her friends. I regretted sending my kid to this school.
Our kids have been attending Gulliver Schools since PreK 3, it’s been a fabulous experience especially in the Academy. We are so thankful for all the love, and influential teachers our kids have had as well as all the support from the lower school principals.
We are always taken back by the education and the selection of the courses offered at the Prep, they are truly amazing.
Unfortunately, the Prep administration does not take the no drugs policy seriously. The daily stench of marijuana on campus hallways and parking lot is unbearable and a joke among the students. The school needs to seriously address this issue and create a safer environment for the students.
