As a Gulliver lifer who attended the school from first to twelve grade, and now as a parent of a girl and boy who are both attending, I can tell how the school does a remarkable job of educating, guiding, nurturing, and helping students be their best student, classmate, teammate, and active leader and participant in extracurricular and community service. The quality of academic programs is outstanding, the different tracks of AP, IB, Honors and College Preparatory allow each student to excel the best way they can and to pursue a broad offering of courses, activities, and co-curriculars. The school provides a remarkable atmosphere and tight-knit community, despite its large size--in part due to the ability to separate the primary, lower, middle and upper school segments programmatically but yet maintain them (except the high school) on the same campus. From outstanding college preparatory functions to a great school community, Gulliver provides it all. Bravo to Gulliver!

I love Gulliver! The teachers are always there to support you and the education is great! There are regular classes available, advanced placement classes, and the International Baccalaureate Program available as well. Whatever route you decide to go in, there are people there available to help you and guide you. The best part about Gulliver I would say is the support from the counselors when it comes to apply to college.
Gulliver Preparatory School- like any other - has its benefits and drawbacks. However, the wonderful spirit of community during difficult times is something I will cherish for years to come. Like every high school, there are cliques, of course. These cliques do not affect the social environment of the school, however, and its safe to say that most students feel comfortable attending (in my experience). There are many levels to academics, so the rigor will be just right for each student. Additionally, taking classes that are challenging are also healthily encouraged. The teachers, for the most part, are willing to understand and work with you during trying times (some more than others). There is a fine emphasis on culture and diversity, as well as music and art, with pep rallies, plays, and art shows. The campus is always clean and is maintained beautifully by the staff. Overall, the school is inclusive with a healthy environment that promotes mental health and social awareness.
