Growing Up Green Charter School Reviews

Been attending GUGCS for 3 years, this year (worst) will change some teachers, due to showing discrimination towards parents. Principal won't solve, apologize nor believe a parent. We got suspended for trying to solve the problem. Another change will be recess time, aren't enough equipment and staff are careless to watching other children hit other children. Me and 3 parents are leaving this school from 2nd grade, so they'll be 4 spaces available for the coming year, 3rd grade.

I have a first grader and will have an incoming K kid- I am really pleased with the school and have not encountered any problems when it comes to kids hitting each other. If there is a problem the parents are made aware and actions are taken by the school with conflict resolution. The school has many field trips my around 10 every year the trips are mostly based on the lessons- Example learning about insects and going to the butterfly conservatory at the NHM- The parents are involved and are encouraged to come in and help out. Teachers are caring and staff is welcoming. The school lacks gym space and a big outdoor space but they try to make up for it in other ways.
