The one thing I admire about Grove City High School is that the staff truly does care about the current and future success of the students. However, the office could do a better job at contacting the students quicker. Another thing I believe is a problem not at the high school, but in the Grove City Area School District as a whole is bullying. In middle school, my friends and I were bullied nonstop. When there was nothing we could about it but tell the office, they did very little about it. This is a problem I feel strongly about nationwide, but Grove City definitely needs to look into handling those situations better.
Grove City is a lovely area to go to school. It's safe, consistent, and close-knit. That being said, the area does lack in diversity and openness. If students are interested in expanding their knowledge of the world, there are opportunities to join a Global Scholars program or Interact Club, which is sponsored by the Rotary.
I would like to see more administrative envolvment. I feel like there should be more college classes, and more classes to take if you go to the local career center. All the classes I had taken were great and the teachers were super helpful and kind. More online/hybrid options for students who drive.
