When I graduated from Groton in 2017 there is not a single thing that I would have liked to change about the school district. However, in recent times the school seems to be going downhill. Under new administration more and more individuals with criminal backgrounds are being granted open enrollment to a school that is already almost at full capacity.

What I liked most about going to Groton Area is the relationships I developed with my teachers. They are truly amazing and enthusiastic about their roles. I feel that has reflected off onto me to find a career I am passionate about. As with all schools there is room for improvement. Our school sets goals every year and usually is successful in achieving them.
The core sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, and track are the most popular organizations, and have much administrative support. Other clubs such as the Robotics club and Destination Imagination, although they teach more and are more enjoyable to me, are not adequately supported by the administration.
