This was an amazing experience, I was strugggling with self motivation in a mainstream high school. I also did not feel genuine support from my teachers or administrators. At Grizzly, we had a support system from all sides, our teachers were personally concerned with our success and worked with students did or did not ask for help, if they felt the student was struggling. The military environment and experiences reshaped our worldview and problem solving strategies. The methods they employed work very well for students who feel that they "own" the system or that the system doesn't understand them. 22 weeks of misery and hell that I and most other graduates would repeat in a heartbeat.

I loved the experience, it was a great way to change and prepare for the world. You make great connections and you could gain up to 65 or 70 credits in 5 months. It also gives you great military experience.
While attending Grizzly, I not only learned to be a great scholar and a leader in the classroom, but I learned to be a man out in general. Grizzly Charter School was a great experience, I enjoyed that there is always a helping hand no matter the situation. The reason I obtained a 4.0 was due to the help of the teachers and staff , they showed me I can accomplish school goals and future education.
