Griffin School afforded my daughter the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment that combines academic rigor with compassionate support. She truly achieved milestones in her education that I don’t believe she would have achieved in another school setting. Small class sizes, elective options that cater to academics, arts and athletics, she was exposed to and received a diverse education in an environment that supports inclusion by all. With many school events, socialization is encouraged as well as collaboration with peers through arts showcases and athletic team events. The faculty at Griffin truly develop relationships with the students and demonstrate care for student achievements. As a mother fully vested in my daughter’s success, I credit Griffin with so much of her growth into a strong and independent minded woman prepared to face the world before her.

Griffin School allowed me to explore who I am and given me a very strong foundation to be confident in who I am.
My experience with the arts has been unequivocally positive; Griffin's resources are matched by its resourcefulness. Art - provocative, interesting, and real - happens here. Music is made here. Griffin fosters the artistic self-expression of its students. Engaged supportive faculty and a creative community make this possible.
Athletics, mainly the running program in all its disciplines, is nearly unrivaled. That coupled with the flexibility of the school allows a student like myself to cycle competitively for a local juniors program easily.
Academics at the Griffin School are equally as important as the arts. Griffin teachers act as stewards of the material, not unengaged classroom managers. Teachers make room to accommodate them and their particular needs.
That fact above all makes the Griffin School so special: people care about you, and you matter within the community.
We truly cannot imagine a better high-school experience than what is offered by the entire community at the Griffin School! Adam and Caroline Wilson, as well as the faculty and staff they have assembled, truly see each student's unique attributes and know how to cultivate confidence, responsibility, leadership, and civic engagement. Griffin graduates, like our older son (2015) are fully equipped to take on the challenges of college life with academic readiness and maturity. Current students, like our younger son (2020) enjoy small class sizes, committed teachers, and limitless opportunities to develop their own creative genius. If you choose Griffin for your son or daughter, you will be amazed by what they discover about themselves and their abilities.
