For the most part, GMCCHS was an amazing high school! The teachers are all extremely motivated to help students succeed and all offer office hours. I also loved being able to take college classes at Greenville Technical College while in high school for free. I would have given the school 5 stars, but I do feel that the required senior project has become ridiculous in the requirements and caused several of my friends to have a horrible senior year because of all the stress. Overall, I would go back to the school for high school, the small atmosphere, teachers, and academics make this school great!

I am a Junior at Greer Middle College, and I love it. The staff is so nice and cares for you; I have developed some amazing relationships with my teachers. I also have been doing amazing with grades because the teachers push me to do my best. The thing I am most grateful for is Dual Enrollment College classes. It is helping to prepare me for college and get the beginner classes out of the way. LOVE THIS SCHOOL!
I wasted 4 years of my life at this "school". I am giving the school 3 stars because of how great the dual enrollment program, as well as ~most~ of the teachers are excellent. Senior Project is the school's main thing. As someone who actually went through the grueling process, I can say what an absolute waste of time senior project is. They will tell you that the students benefit from it, but they don't. What should be a fun process, is twisted into an extremely stressful, pointless, year long project that your student is guaranteed to lose sleep over, as well as a lot of tears. If you are going to send your child to Greer Middle College, let them change schools before senior year and they will love you forever.
