It has very much of a small town feel, and everyone know everyone! We're all like a little family. I would like to see the school become a bit more diverse, and also move into a bigger building eventually.

Greer Middle College has definitely been an experience. However, its crazy to see how much a school can change in only four years. GMC used to offer many project learning activities rather than tests. As a freshman, I had many projects. As a senior, the project-based school is not really a reflective term anymore. Somewhere between the years, the parents seem to have overpowered the voices of administration and the parents voices direct the school now, rather than guide it. It is not the same as it used to be.
I love my school. They geared us for college beginning freshman year. Greer Middle College Charter High is a project based school and focuses on our senior project as our final major project. I have learned how to start my own business and am currently building a candy making company as my senior project. Although it is challenging, I feel I have and continue to learn a lot and am held to a higher standard than regular public school. I am very happy there because there is a greater desire to learn than other schools I have attended.
