Greenville Tech is a successful school and can prepare you well for a bright collegiate future. While the academics were highly emphasized, the administration and politics of the school were the problem areas while I attended. Over 20 faculty and staff had left throughout my years at Tech, including rotating principals, which was problematic alone due to none of them having prior experience with the way Tech works, and therefore tried to fix nonexistant or incredibly minor issues instead of what students and parents were actually concerned about. As far as I'm concerned, while the education was well achieved, it's best to guide yourself to achieve your goals rather than attempt getting assistance from faculty that will likely be gone within the next two years, not unlike how you'll have to prepare yourself for college anyhow. Prepare yourselves, and ask your own questions if you want a straight answer.

GTCHS is such an amazing school. The teachers here all care about the readiness of their children. The opportunities at this school are incredible. It is very unique to be able to sit in a small setting where each student obtains lots of one on one help from the teachers. Another great aspect of this school is the opportunity they give their students to go and take actual college class. Their students are getting the chance to take a class with actual college students who are one, two, three, or more years older than they are. This prepares the students for actual college school life before graduating, it also helps them get ahead, which saves lots of money. This is overall an amazing school! I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some of their faculty and staff.
Personally, I had a great experience at Greenville Tech Charter. It's a small school, and all of my teachers and classsmates were considered family to me. The best thing you can get out of charter is the opportunity to take dual-enrollment at Greenville Tech College. You gain a bit of experience, and feel more prepared for entering into a higher institution. Charter may not have most things that other public high schools have, such as a gym or cafeteria, but the staff tries to make the most of it even so. Teachers want to see their students grow and do what they can to help.
