I’m still in High School and so far I love it! I struggle with math, and I always have but my teacher Miss. Scholtens is really helpful. Lots of my teachers are really fun, and during this time of quarantine I have been having questions about my assignments my teachers seem to always answer right back and help me work through it. Greenville High School is one of the only places you can really meet new friends, and Learn amazing things. And I’m glad I’m a student at this school!
The food is not too good and hasn't been good in the four years I've been here. Sometimes the teachers care more about what you're wearing and look like than your actually education. Some teachers should really even be teachers because they barely teach anything and expect you to do amazing. The sports culture is okay even though the teams from the school usually are not the best but the football games are always fun. Diversity is barely a thing except for exchange students and the few POC. They help you with college with a college advisor however it is not a requirement to meet with them. With the new bill, we got they renovated the school but still didn't give us air conditioning. but they added mire study areas around the school for the kids. and they made new classrooms for some of the teachers. The attitude of the newer students is awful and they are not very good with the manners.
I graduated with a pretty good GPA, 3.53, and I didn't have too many classes or teachers that were problematic, my teachers mostly were very open to getting me help and making sure I was a successful student. The classroom climate was always pretty friendly, and I never felt uncomfortable in classes. There were a few classes of course like P.E. or English classes that I didn't love, but I got through them none the less.
