I loved this high school, there were so many paths to choose from. They offer courses at the Donaldson center, fine arts center, they have several classes here, and they always make sure students do their best in the core classes. So many amazing teachers and faculty working here! The AP classes are amazing as well, they really get students prepared for college level classes while improving their overall GPA in high school. I do wish there were more support for the arts here since it is more of a sports school but still great and there is a lot of support for the football team here.
Greenville High is a great school with great teachers. The principal is always walking around talking with students in the hall, and otherwise being very personable. The school's layout is very simple which makes it easy to find classes. Guidance is very open and easy to talk to and they know what they are doing and how to handle tense situations. While some students are a handful, most teachers are great at quickly diffusing the situation and getting back on track. Demographic-wise, the classes are very diverse, we have students from all sorts of backgrounds which makes Greenville High a great place to attend High School. I love that they have multiple academic tracks you can take and offer over 20 AP classes as well as Dual Credit. They also have Latin! Also, with the magnet program you can specialize in Law, Business, or Finance and can even work in the Branch, a bank located in the cafeteria which is open to all students.
Greenville is an excellent well rounded , diverse school in athletics and academics . They offer many different programs , resources that help set up for success The environment is safe and conducive of what is needed to have a great high school career . They are about the students safety and happiness! The school facility , parents and students are actively involved and supporting school spirit! Its been great!
