Greenville High is a great school with great teachers. The principal is always walking around talking with students in the hall, and otherwise being very personable. The school's layout is very simple which makes it easy to find classes. Guidance is very open and easy to talk to and they know what they are doing and how to handle tense situations. While some students are a handful, most teachers are great at quickly diffusing the situation and getting back on track. Demographic-wise, the classes are very diverse, we have students from all sorts of backgrounds which makes Greenville High a great place to attend High School. I love that they have multiple academic tracks you can take and offer over 20 AP classes as well as Dual Credit. They also have Latin! Also, with the magnet program you can specialize in Law, Business, or Finance and can even work in the Branch, a bank located in the cafeteria which is open to all students.

I was nervous about being in high school, but the Freshman Academy prepared me for it, and I felt at home as soon as I stepped in the school. The school has a supportive environment, and the best week of the year is Spirit Week! I would have chosen to go to Greenville High all over again if I had another chance.
Something I liked about Greenville high was that the teacher and principal always wanted the best for you. They took away most of the fun but academically I think that Greenville is the best high school so far. I feel like they should have had more programs for the black and Hispanic community of kids so they can get more involved in the school. I also feel like they should have had more fun and engaging things to do other than having buy outs and other things. I think they should work on their dress code policy more as well because students would either wear what they wanted or they would get in trouble for having their shirt on to tight. I would recommend you go to this school If you like to stay focused and not have as much fun as normal. This school is not like highs you would see around SC, they are more strict which is ok to a certain level. Greenville high is a very diversed school and I would imagine they would have more diversed programOther than that the school was aright.
