Overall, there was nothing there. Arts, music, sports, clubs, activities, everything kept getting cut. We had a library, but nobody to run or maintain it; there still wasn't one when I visited a couple years ago. The only books that children read are ones part of the 100 Book Challenge program that have been in use for two decades, at least. Recently a science lab was constructed out of rooms that had formerly been dedicated to special needs students. The administration is poor and ineffective, and often antagonized lower-performing students. The district has no money to improve the school or give it resources like, say, equipment for the gym--the school is entirely reliant on grants from the district, putting extra pressure on the children and teachers to test well in the PSSA's.

Most teachers are too harsh to the students with what they expect them to know. The principal Gina Hubbard is a bully. She bullied my sister and has no respect at all.
