Greenbelt is a great school. New walls, new chairs, new rooms, new smell, we felt so entitled coming into a new school. Greenbelt had its ups and downs, but teachers actually cared about how we learned or how to deal with students. Ms. Doepel was a cool teacher, she reminds me of the lady in Freedom Writers, she related to the whole class no matter where you came from. Mrs. Justsen, a caring teacher that gave us books that we actually read and annotated together as a class. Greenbelt lunch was okay, we had colorful trays for our lunches, we were actually able to sit where we wanted and socialize with our friends. Not going to lie, it would annoy us when we had an assistant principal that would be like "you in the green shirt" and it would be like 50 kids to turn around and be confused. DEFINETELY a funny experience as kids. I made a lot of friends, that I wish I kept longer, but it was an experience that I wouldn't forget. I appreciate Greenbelt for what it has taught me.

What i liked at GMS was the friendly staff and nice teachers and also nice friends . And basically what I would like to seen change is the way some students disrespect some teachers and that bothers me
