I went to Green Tech my entire high school career. During the time, the one thing that I can say needs improvement is the teacher and student relationship. There were way too many times when teachers would leave for days or even weeks at a time and abandon my class. There were times where I've failed a class or exam because my class had no structure or direction for my learning.

Great relationship with most teachers, teachers, and staff are motivational. Most fellow students have a great vibe and there is a very strong feeling of community and connection within the school. Sports teams and coaches are awesome.
The teachers seldom pushed us and most classes taught me very little of substance, though this may speak more about high school education as a whole. The school has stated that it's major goal is to get its students into college, yet the majority of teachers were quite lenient with makeup work, with behavioral issues taking precedent. I could speak on a host of other issues with the school and its student body (I decline in commenting on this subject), however, as one who most would consider rather asocial, I did find a niche here. Looking back I could have been much less happy at other schools in the area, though I regret not taking my work and extraneous studies more seriously in favor of being with my group of friends. I'm less of a mess than I was in my freshman year (good God the horror) but I didn't grow as much as I could have, and a large part of that is due to my own inaction and need for social growth. Green Tech High is a VERY mixed bag for me, and the only thing keeping me from reconsidering my (father's) choice in high school were the relatively few people I met and liked there. It cultivated and helped me in my adolescence, but I think that I'm long overdue for a taste of the real world after the fact.
