Green Lake as a whole preschool - senior year is a blast and such a wonderful opportunity to go to. With an IB program and everyone’s different personalities we form such a smart and loving family, teachers and students.

Really good teachers that were able to help to the students since the average class size was of 15 students. Good programs like Project Lead The Way and IB courses. Well equipped shop class.
I wasn't involved in sports--but that made me the odd man out. They didn't offer any of the sports I was into (lacrosse, hockey, combat sports, dance, etc), but the sports that were offered were taken pretty seriously. We had volleyball (girls), football (boys) (fall both), basketball (winter, boys and girls teams), track and field (spring and fall, integrated practices, solitary competition), baseball (boys, spring), softball (girls, spring), swim team (located at another school but open to our students). The school was small, so coaches and teachers could communicate and avoid taxing the athlete/students. Some people think the school valued athletes over other students--I'm not sure that's the way I'd put it, but the boys athletic teams never had to worry about filling all their slots or getting funding. Boys teams were definitely valued over girls--it wasn't anyone's 'fault' or anything, that's just were community interest went. If you wanted to do a sport, you could--it was so small that there were no tryouts. The kids who did sports usually did other extra curriculars--they weren't stuck up or clicky because of their involvement in sports. Some of them were nice, some of them were jerks, but that had nothing to do with their being 'jocks'.
