It is very good at making their students and parents feel as if there is no bullying, racism, or homophobia allowed in the school. The only reason I stayed was because of my amazing volleyball coach who cared about us so much. This is a very whitewashed school. They make it so that it is very hard to be a person of color who thrives at this school. There have been so many incidences of people bullying others, drawing swastikas on desks, and leaving others out of things because of their sexual orientation. Great Hearts has even passed a very subtle anti trans law for their schools saying that they must be addressed by the gender they were assigned at birth, may only wear uniform attire for that gender, and must use that restroom. Many students are depressed and some are suicidal because of the work load and bullying that goes on at this seemingly angelic school. Most of the students are all very nice because they understand everyone else's pain.

I am very great full for my experience at Chandler Preparatory Academy. The headmasters there are excellent and they take time to know each student in the school. The class size is around 18-24 students. I enjoy every single one of my classes as they prepare me for college but also teach me about many real life things in daily life. The teachers are very involved in helping everyone of their students. Chandler Prep has a large diversity of clubs. I have been a part of many of these clubs. Most of the clubs are run by teachers so this connects the school further. The curriculum is rigorous but is very beneficial when the hard work is put in. As this school is a liberal arts school, the classes connect together in that they each develop certain skills useful for other classes which are very helpful for real life. Logic and speaking play a big role in what decisions people make and how they execute those decisions, which is one of many benefits of our curriculum.
Chandler Prep prepares students for college by challenging students to be the best they can be. Though the work load can be intimidating for someone entering from a public school, those that grow up in the charter school system typically thrive. In CPA, it is a close knit community where everyone knows everyone, and each student has a name and personality, and isn’t just a number. This school is great for anyone who is ready to work hard and try their best, and I’ve personally heard from many people that to adjust to college after the Chandler Prep curriculum is not as hard as many others students from other schools. There are plenty of clubs at CPA. Many athletes from CPA have gone on to play in college, and CPA’s no-cut policy gives everyone a chance to enjoy any sport they like, and learn fundamentals from the amazing coaches.
