I have truly enjoyed my time at Grandview. Teachers are supportive and helpful, and care about each student. I personally overcame my fear of public speaking because of Grandview's supportive community. I have loved the chance to make exciting, interesting projects on advanced topics to learn the material with far more depth than in a regular classroom. I've worked on projects outside of my comfort zone, such as building a six-foot-radius mosaic (and installing it with the help of our incredibly-kind maintenance), going to California to talk to scientists at the NASA AMES Research Center about Astrobiology, making a storm mitigation system model, writing a paper and and creating a model for a possible solution to plastic pollution using biomimicry, creating a conservation plan for an endangered local species, and being a part of a mock Supreme Court. I actually look forward to going to school because it is not about testing and memorizing, it is about learning and innovating.

Like a family, very innovative and on top of the latest in education. This school has everything a fabulous BIG private school would have except it is a SMALL! The facilities are wonderful and kept up beautifully. The students have the best attitude and walk around campus with such joy because they love school, love learning and feel safe.
