A wonderful high school, filled to the brim with well-meaning teachers and faculty that have lots to share and teach! Passion abound, the extracurriculars are aplenty and active, and everybody is generally caring for one another regardless of who they are. Students here are set up for some of the top colleges in the nation, or wonderful internship/apprenticeship opportunities.

what i like about Grandview is that its a safe school. the education is the best, and the teachers really want you to succeed in life so that will have the best after high school experience. Also the environment is clean the school spirit could be better, but that's the kids fault for not having that much spirit. Athletics are amazing! During the time i attended Grandview High school we won a good amount of championships. The basketball program is getting better and better each year. the weight room is one of the best weight rooms in the state. and we sure like to keep it really well so it could stay like that, coach said before. the wrestling program is by far the best that i know of, we won centennial league championships 4 years in a row now! The academic side of the school is what makes the school pop out. The teachers are always pushing us students for the best and they just keep checking on us to get our work done so they could see us succeed.
Grandview granted me a great four years of my life. I liked almost all of my teachers, my friends and classmates were very kind, and it fed me lots of knowledge. Many of Grandview's features are features that other school's principals dream of. The quality of academics and activities are superb. But, there are also downsides of the school. The food quality in the last two years has dropped drastically. In many occasions, you can find students throwing away partially eaten food. The sewage system is also a big problem. Several times a year, gasses from leaking sewage lines can be smelled throughout the hallways and classrooms of the school. Even though there are some physical lacks, the intangible facets heavily outweigh them.
