Grand View Elementary School Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 2 reviews
My child is finishing this year, and completes the K-5 education at Grand View. The school would be just a normal elementary school if it wasn't for the additional programs the MBEF provides. MBEF adds additional teachers to keep class size small, a wonderful music program, a full time librarian, art teacher, and a few other programs. Also, the extended day program is extra cost, and very good.
We had an amazing principle when we started, but the district did a rotation. The new principle is average, but is a let down after the last one. All of our full time teachers have been Caucasian women, but the substitutes have been diverse men and women. Of the six teachers we have had, 2 have been amazing, and the others good professionals.
Our best experience has been Kindergarten, Music, and the library.

Tolerates bullying by students and teachers. Principle offers counseling for the victim instead of addressing the perpetrator/issues. Difficult Principle to work with. Poor listener. Not a true child advocate. Interested in protecting the teacher instead of the child.
