Grand terrace high school has the most amazing staff! They ensure that you are enjoying your high school experience. Sports are highly encouraged and each teacher understands that being a scholar athlete is tough. Yet the coaches and staff don’t let your grades slip and allow you time after school to go back and review material you are confused with. They encourage student activities as well. There is always a different event going on during the lunches or after school. They have amazing themes for spirit weeks. They build amazing relationships between staff and students. I will always remember my time being a GT Titan!

Overall, my experience at grand Terrace High School was amazing. The school is very diverse in that there are several different ethnicities, religions, and sexualities represented not only in the student body, but in the staff as well. With the exception of about 1 or 2 teachers, I would say every teacher I've had for the past 4 years have been amazing. Sure, every teacher has flaws, however I feel that nearly every teacher on campus is genuinely attempting to give their students a well rounded education. There are also many clubs on campus, so it's not difficult to get involved. Our sports teams are pretty decent too, and in fact our cheer competition squad has placed first and second at nationals! Every campus has their flaws, but I do feel that Grand Terrace offers the best education out of the high schools in the Colton Joint Unified School District.
My experience with Grand Terrace High School has been more positive than negative. The staff and teachers and administration are helpful, friendly, and clearly want their students to succeed. The school strives for a friendly and social environment, which is visible throughout the events that the student board put together. The students have an abundance of activities, clubs, and sports to participate in as well. However, while the school advertises great teachers, many students become frustrated with several teachers who are unwilling to work with their students. The science department is especially lacking in structure- leaving the students confused. Despite this, the school remains involved and pleasant.
