This year, im a Junior. While this school is very good education wise, these last three years. Its really upsetting not to have any real food that doesn't come out of plastic containers. The school feels 100-200 student over capacity and it sucks getting around the school. Our teachers are absolutely amazing, they all really care about us and our education. Im bothered on grading though. Theres a single question on your tests that dictate if you get an A or a B. If you get even half a question wrong on the first half of the test, you cant get more than a C. You take three tests on what you're learning, you learn from your mistakes. All the people I know are very involved in what little we have to offer. We have very few sports; volleyball, soccer, basketball. If the school had enough funding for more sports, actual lunches, better classrooms, and got rid of students causing problems, this would be probably the best school you could go to.

GRP is academically rigorous and will challenge students, and it is also extremely diverse. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the academic rigor of college courses, and they offer a wide selection of Advanced Placement courses. The student body is very diverse, which is beneficial in that students are exposed to different cultures, new ways of thinking, and different perspectives, which ultimately prepares them for what they will experience in college. The school facilities are modest, and unfortunately are too small to support the growth of the school. They offer many extracurricular activities such as division 3 sports , drama, and many electives and clubs that meet once a week. Overall, GRP is an excellent school that will likely grow both in size and in prominence.
For being a senior at this school, it’s been so amazing all four years! Greatest teachers in Michigan and students are more than college ready. I’m so thankful for this school for preparing me so well!
