I really enjoyed and loved my time at Grand Rapids Christian High School. I really loved how there were so many opportunities to try new things and explore doing things you love. GRCHS offers a two week period called Winterim, where students are giving the choice of taking fun and informative classes, traveling across the country/ around the world, or getting real life experience at an internship in an area of interest. The school also had a great appreciation for not only academics, but also for athletics and the fine arts. Also, as it is a Christian school I was able to learn, question, explore, and grow my understanding of religion and grow my own personal faith. I loved my high school!

Overall it's very good. The academics are fabulous and the opportunities are great. There are many, many AP classes for those who have a desire to challenge themselves. Most the teachers are engaging, interesting and committed to the students they teach. The teachers are invested in the future of the students and strive to helpful not only with questions one might have about the homework, but also with mental health and personal stress. However, the Administration is lacking several things. The administration doesn't really care about the opinion of the students who attend. They make changes which no one likes and that aren't necessarily helpful. They aren't friendly and don't even bother to take the time to explain their decisions to the student body.
I think that it has been a very good experience overall. The teachers at Grand Rapids Christian High are amazing and really know and are passion about what they are teaching. The student body is pretty diverse, but still could be better. The international program that our school has does an amazing job and I have made many friends from all over the world. Our school also offers many AP courses for students who like to over achieve and most of them are taught extremely well. Where Grand Rapids Christian falls in my opinion in the past few years is the administration. With too many changes, and some being horrible (no formative grades), it has been frustrating for the students, especially the seniors (my current grade). However, the teachers and the student body are the reason to stay. Most of the teachers are relatable, knowledgable, and most of all, reliable. And with the student body, we are proud when it comes to our student culture, especially when it comes to sports.
