Overall, I’ve enjoyed attending GPHS for the last four years. My school is very diverse and inclusive of culture. I love how understanding they are when it comes to students in need and mental health.
Grand Prairie high school is like any other high school. Very diverse with different races from different backgrounds.
We do have a lot of trouble with fighting and drugs.

In Grand Prairie HS people are friendly and teachers are very helpful. One thing i would change is that the administration need to help more than the teachers
I was beyond blessed to be in a city where advances are being made. Grand Prairie High has advanced to hold great programs for future success. An example being the nursing program, that I am currently in.
What I love about the school is the diversity and different cultures that are built around Grand Prairie. It gives Grand Prairie a sense of identity
It's a great school overall. I really like how the staff there puts the students and their education first. Any issue you have can be solved quickly and never push you tu the side for something else. Every student has manners and of course we have our fun every now and then.
High School has been an important part of my becoming of age phase in life now slowly taking a closure as we're all preparing to walk that stage in just a few months. These past four years have surprisingly been compassionate with me along side with a lot of hard work. Creating new friendships and learning life lessons along the way. Grand Prairie High School really brought these certain moments to me and I'm truly grateful for those. Alongside with those parts, they really did have the classes I needed for my chosen career pathway which was Law Enforcement before I changed my mind on another pathway for the future. That program really offers great hands on learning and the teachers are amazing and make learning enjoyable and helpful. Since I've been in choir since middle school i really wanted to attend a school which had a strong choir program. This school obtained the best ranking show choir in all Grand Prairie which really shows the amazing experience the choir has.
I have attended this school during my four years of high school. There were certain things I liked about the school, which were that the teachers were really helpful and the staff also. Somethings I would like to see change would be, the students having more school spirit and the staff is more open to having "fun things" to do with the students.
one of the best school in my district. there are many nice activity you can do in my school like basketball, football, tennis and soccer.
My experience at Grand Prairie high school has been very good. i have had no problems or issues with my school
The academics are great but overall all the school isn’t as great do too many students with bad behaviors, makes class and going to school not worth it.
Going to Grand Prairie High School was a decent experience but it was a strict place. Events were not as fun as the could have been and involvement of students was lacked in all types of areas. Going all four years I noticed a difference compared to other schools my friends went to. But the education I got from the school was good and it prepare me the best it could for the future.
A regular high school although it is unnecessarily strict. Cafeteria food isn’t good. Other than that it has many school activities and sports of that’s what you like
Grand Prairie High School is not a school where you should send your child to . Unhygienic environment. Students are force to stay inside a class room and not allow to leave to go to the restroom.
My experience was great because we only get to go to high school once in our life. I played football, was a very successful scholar, and was a kind student. My senior could've been better but the COVID-19 pandemic occurred and those are some of the things in life we cannot anticipate. CLASS OF 2020 OUT!
Grand Prairie high school had a lot to it. There was a lot of ups and downs to it. I can’t really say I’ve had the full experience since I was in early college. Early college students have their own everything, so we are kind of separated from all the rest of the kids. I saw a lot of fights and it would get really crazy. I think Grand Prairie high school would benefit from more security. Personally, I made a few friends here and there and had an overall good experience. I just think that some things can be fixed. Such as, helping us combine more with regular GP because from me and my friends, we get bored being around the same people all day, every year. I am leaving because I do not feel fully secure individually, but Grand Prairie High school will forever hold my freshmen year memories and friendships.
The Grand Prairie environment feels so welcoming. Students from many ethnicities and backgrounds come together to build a community. We lost a very loving principal and named the Student Union after him which couldn't be possible without the many hearts he touched and the community he built here at Grand Prairie High. There are many programs and activities students are able to involve in that help them both academically and socially. The teachers and administrators are all there to help and ensure the education and safety of students. Overall, the work of administration is helping push Grand Prairie High students to succeed for the future.
