Overall, High school had its ups and downs. We had Covid and it really put me in a sad place and I gave up kind of because of being locked in not seeing my friends. Also, having to stare at a screen all day for classes was horrible I would fall asleep, my body was sore. I lost some friendships during high school but most importantly I made some lifelong friends and would do it all over again. I can’t believe I graduated it feels just like yesterday I started high school walked in and I remember hating math and science labs but I got to meet some great people and become close to some teachers I will miss them especially my orchestra teacher I loved how much school spirit my school had and all the things we were allowed to do. I’ve learned a lot about me. I will be going into early childhood at Buffalo State University and couldn’t do it without the help of my teachers since the beginning. Grand Island High School will always be apart of me and I will be forever grateful for everything!
Overall, I'd say that my experience with Grand Island High School was very good. I enjoyed all of my teachers, and they have all made tremendous differences in my life. I also think that there is a lot of student involvement in sports, clubs, and things like pep rallies or dances. I think that the amount of things for students to do definitely elevates students' high school experience, and there is pretty much something for everyone. The only negative about Grand Island is it's not very diverse, so a lot of kids don't get to experience a diverse high school.
Over the current three years I have attended this high school, we have gone through a different principle each year. The school it’s self lacks diversity and opportunity as well. However guidance and teachers are good. Offers memories to be made as well.
