Granada provides one of the best high school opportunities you could ask for. Challenging yet fun obstacles will help you grow into an independent and free thinker through the years. The teaching staff are always ready to assist you at a moment's notice. Arguably more challenging than some colleges, Granada is guaranteed to leave you better prepared than anyone else. Not to mention they've got huge sports teams with excellent coaches. My track Coach was a professional who ran in Massive events all the way in Japan!

As i'm still currently enrolled at Granada, I won't be able to give a full account of my experiences there. However, even though I've only been here for about two years now, i can already tell how amazing the school is, and how much I would recommend applying to get in. Granada is a very friendly, academically strong school that also has some pretty good sports teams as well. I personally play for the Granada soccer team, so I would know. It's a very fun, safe atmosphere, and you really get to enjoy the diversity of the school. Everyone comes in all shapes and sizes, colors and backgrounds, and you get to meet them all! I love being able to go to Granada, and I would really recommend it as a school to try to get into!
Throughout my two years at Granada Hills Charter High School I have enjoyed the friendly and safe environment. Not only does this school offer 29 AP and 38 IB courses, but offers college courses provided by Pierce College as well. The diversity in these classes ensure that every student is encouraged to take a course that best fits their interests. There are also many programs at GHCHS that tend to different needs such as STEM and Humanitas. All students are encouraged to try their best, even when coming from a difficult background. The teachers here at GHCHS care about their students and fellow co-workers alike. Teachers often spend hours after classes helping students study, prepare for future exams and answering important questions. With this being said, the teachers also help their fellow co-workers by sharing classroom ideas, worksheets, and exams so that they can later discuss what students and missing or need more guidance with. I hope this helps!
