Graland is a phenomenal school that provides its students with skills in academics and strong character from Preschool through Eighth Grade. One of the many reasons I chose to work here was due to the excellent and professional faculty who are experienced educators and experts in their craft. They are supported with thorough and meaningful professional development in an environment that always says "yes". As an employee, I am encouraged to think out to the box, take risks, and follow my passion as an educator. I am coached to be my best, and I am inspired daily by my colleagues and students. I you are looking for a school that teaches to the whole-child and is intentional about a well-rounded education for young people, I encourage you to consider Graland.
The admissions process was the best of the schools we applied to, and since we were thinking of having my son repeat kindergarten (he's a summer birthday), they were incredibly supportive. The teachers are outstanding -- very engaged, learning the nuances of each child and then teaching to those strengths and weaknesses. Giving individual feedback that was helpful and pertinent to each child so that they could succeed. The leadership is highly involved, always looking to innovate and improve. I love that my son is given the latitude to create and come up with new ideas, while being challenged to take on new material, and being given responsibilities that will grow him as a person. As education and the world change with lightning speed, Graland has been both able to adapt, and also hold true to their core principles. Their goal is to create a well-rounded global citizen, and they are succeeding, and giving me hope for the future generations.
