Teachers and other faculty here seem to be held to quite a high standard, and it shows! Every member of the staff cares, communicates, and make themselves available as resources for the students. I'm lucky to have studied here and I am ever grateful for the opportunities the school provided me!

Out of the seven schools I've attended in my educational career, Grafton High School is hands down the best. Grafton has something for everyone; sports, clubs, volunteer opportunities and beyond. Everyone has a friend and every student builds relationships with teachers and they continue that relationship beyond their high school career. The students show respect to the teachers because they receive it. The students are academically challenged each and everyday which help the students grow. Grafton rates top in Virginia Schools for more than curriculum. The drug levels are lower than other schools in the area and even in York County. All together Grafton High School earned its right as a top Virginia School.
Grafton is a second family to your own. Faculty and staff are supportive and willing to go out of their way to assist each and every student whenever possible. The individuals who make up the school all have one agenda...to educate us to be the leaders of tomorrow.

One thing that I would like to see at Grafton is a higher recognition and more education on bullying. Unfortunately, students do not live by the premise to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". My cousin have been a victim of bullying with girls who assume that what they are doing is "just a joke". However, the victims don't see their "jokes" as such and suffer because of them.
