Grady is one of the higher ranking schools in Atlanta Public Schools. It offers a wide range of AP classes and exams, although they do lack a few courses that other schools might have. The teachers are generally pretty good and supportive, although there are a few who are absolutely insufferable and who most students try to avoid because they are not able to properly teach the material, act unfairly and unprofessionally, and/or are just not cool. Grady has a very strong theatre and visual arts program driven by passionate teachers and students. There is also an orchestra program, which is alright, and a marching band, which also seems to be alright.

I was able to partake in many different aspects of life, such as taking classes in healthcare, art, fashion, or business. The whole four years of one's life is spent there finding out what you like to do, somewhat like college just a precursor towards it. I took healthcare all four years, including art and Spanish for three. I realized that I liked learning more about the human body and development as we studied it in school and I've decided that I want to be in the medical field. Though, doing art leisurely is fine too I really enjoyed the process. Also, there is a wide variety of sports to participate in. There is lacrosse, soccer, tennis, swim, football, cheer leading, and much more. I really enjoyed my school life here and made many friends.
