Grace Preparatory School is a small christian private school in Stafford Virginia. The school does not have its own building; it rents space from a local church. The sports department isn't bad, but it is limited to basketball, cross-country, volleyball, and cheerleading. The school has no clubs such as band, jrotc, drama, journalism, etc. Starting this past year, the school has began offering AP classes with weighted grades. The teachers are very friendly and care about the students. The classes are all small (less than 15 people per class), so there is a high level of involvement between students and teachers. It is a university model school, so students go to school three times a week and have the other two days for at-home assignments, which allows students to learn to manage their time well and prepare for the structure of college classes. I rated this school as three stars because the academics are strong, but there is not much extracurricular activity (no clubs, few sports).

I am very glad that as Americans and Virginians we have the freedom of school choice. As such, I am hopeful that the people who have written negative reviews on niche.com will find what they are looking for in a school. All students deserve a nurturing, supportive, academically strong school environment. We at Grace Prep School have an open door policy to address any and all parental and student concerns. An atmosphere of honesty helps us become better people to help others in our community.
Grace Prep is a small school, but that is what gives it its best qualities. The students get all the attention they need from the teachers. The teachers are amazing and are always willing to help me, even in off duty hours. Grace Prep functions more like a big family than a school.
