From Grace Community School

At Grace Community School, our primary goal is to provide an outstanding academic education, taught from a biblical worldview. Our faculty is dedicated to guiding the academic lives of our students, and equipping them with the tools, they need to become all they were created to be. The courses are demanding, and intellectual rigor is required. At the same time, our teachers understand that each child is crafted lovingly by their God to accomplish great things. Our teachers also minister to our students, pray with them, sponsor clubs, lead trips, and coach teams. Students are challenged and stretched beyond their current intellectual and spiritual capacities, and tremendous growth is the inevitable result. We are a relationship-based school. Our teachers model Christ to our students and create long-term mentoring friendships that often go well beyond the four walls of the classroom and their years at Grace.

We are finishing up our second year at Grace and could not be more pleased with our children’s education. We have a freshman and a sixth grader this year and moved them from public school to Grace last year. We were worried about their transition as their test scores were below average. However each year they had teachers that cared about their progress and helped them in every way humanly possible to catch them up. They are both now A/B honor roll students and I cannot give their teachers enough credit. You can tell that they love their job and truly care about the success of their students. Both of our children have also flourished in extra curricular activities and are actually enjoying school! I never thought my 15 yr old would ever like school, but he actually looks forward to going and I don’t have to drag him out of bed! Huge win! It is everything we could have hoped for and so much more!

Great college prep curriculum with a God centered focus. We liked that they aren’t just graduating robots, they are investing in kids lives and helping turn them in to good people. The school is a bit sports oriented, so if you have an athlete they will fit right in, otherwise the clubs are limited. That would be our only complaint. We loved the experience for our kids and believe they had the best education with a Christ centered focus East Tx could offer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this school to anyone!
We’ve loved Grace for our kids!! We’ve had 4 children attend Grace from kindergarten through high school and our youngest is a senior this year. They’ve all grown into caring servant hearted people and I cannot thank Grace enough for the help in shaping them as young adults. They’ve received top notch education, while having life lessons and hard work instilled in them. There are several choices for education in East Tx but I don’t believe you can find a better place that combines character and education. We will miss everyone at Grace when our senior graduates!! Thank you for the memories!!!
