I love teaching at Grace Christian Academy. I enjoy the freedom to teach my subjects, history and social studies, from a Christian perspective. Our quality program is designed to bring glory to God. Our school is host to a diverse group of students from around the world. Students, teachers, and staff enjoy learning about about the many nations represented in our school. Weekly chapels, with a student-led worship team, provide a time for students and staff to reflect on God’s Word. The school offers volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, baseball and softball, track and field, and soccer. We have a strong elementary and middle school music program. We are currently striving to enhance our high school music opportunities. I encourage you to explore the opportunities a GCA education can provide for your family.
The school has great sport programs which help students develop physically and also mentally. The coaches prepare students with sport ethics and skills. In education, the school highly values the role of Christianity in teaching, which is a very good thing. Grace Christian Academy also has a great Dual Credit Program which allow students to get college credits while still in highschool, and I highly recommend your kids to try. College classes aren't that hard but it requires student to work independently. The school have some great teachers that actually care about students. However, some teachers aren't devoted to teaching, and it reflects on students' lack of important knowledge and college success. Overall, if you believe your child is one of those who would independently study for success then this is great, but if your child really needed help to acquire knowledge maybe this isn't the one. Each student is unique and some of them just need a different approach in teaching to learn
I like how supportive the coaches are and how they have your back and want to see the players succeed. The school itself/administration could cycle funding better, hire more teachers, and offer more clubs and activities.
