Gorman Crossing Elementary School Reviews

Our experience at Gorman Crossing has been wonderful for both of our children. The teachers really care and the administration is very helpful. The GT classes are challenging and the on grade level classes seem to meet kids where they are academically. Our PTA goes above and beyond. In our six years at this school we have only had one teacher who was mediocre; the rest were exceptional. We have been so impressed with the strings, band and music programs in particular. Our kids are developing a lifelong love of music because of the efforts the teachers put in. This community and school have been such a blessing to our family!
GCES is one of the best in the entire MD. It has been a wonderful and rewarding experience for my family for the past 4 years. The teachers are knowledgeable, nice and willing to help. The special Ed teachers and staff are exceptional. A lot of resourced at the disposal of teachers and students. The teachers seem to know all the students by name regardless of whose class the students are in. Cost of living in the are is a little high, though.
