Gorham, though small, has been a great experience for me. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. They are people that really care about the success of students. The majority of the staff have had jobs in the career that they are teaching making a great atmosphere for learning. The school psychologists and guidance counselors go above and beyond with students. The reason I could not give Gorham five stars was purely because it is hard to find great friends because of the lack of people and overall diversity.
Despite being a small, rural high school, Gorham High School provides multiple opportunities for students to explore colleges & careers. I was able to earn a lot of college credits while in high school and got to explore industrial mechanics, culinary arts, and filmmaking. The school is a tight-knit community.
A very good school with good teachers, small so less opportunity but other than that an exceptional school.
